Bought my 300 SRT used and it had the "owners" manual but not the manual for the rec/nav. Went to my local jeep/chrys parts dept and they printed out a copy for me. You may be able to get a pdf on line. Either way, onmce you get the manual, you will learn all the features including setting the clock. Do you have an owners manual? If not, you can get this on line as well.

For the REC/NAV here is how you get to the clock settings:

Select NAV function > Enter > scroll down to "Clock Setup > Enter and scroll through the options for the GPS clock, daylight savings, etc...

The complete instructions are in the Navigation radio booklet and are not shown in the Owners manual or the VES manual.

Thanks for the replies, but what I am tring to say is that I know how to get to the rec/nav menu and clock settings, but how do I get the clock to stay on the rec/nav screen when the radio is turned off , just to use as a clock (visible when radio off), does anybody know how?, Thanks Jerry

When mine is off the screen is blank. That's why the other clock is there above the radio I guess.

yep......if the radio is turned off......the unit is off......

There is no provision to display the clock only.

I went back to the NAV system, selected clock settings, scrolled through the options there. No apparent options there in GPS Clock or User Defined Clock mode. My truck has a REC/NAV and it displays a digital clock when off. I'll have to dig out my Navigation radio manual to see if there's any info there.
