Viper Smart Start

Does anyone know of anything about the Viper Smart Start? I have read about it but was curious if anyone had one, used one, or is using one now.
I have friend that installs car audio and alarms and wants to install one in my car in exchange for me to do some minor work on his house.. Thoughts?

Seem pretty reliable? Did you use the Android App? Work ok?

I got it when it first came out and it had some issues with it connecting to my phone. The alarm and remote start worked great though. I'm sure by now it should work well. I got mine 4 years ago

have had mine for a couple years, love it, the app works on my android device and is pretty slick
