Question What's needed to add a REC unit?

Hey smart audio people....

I have an '06 C that had the REC navigation unit with the BA8 system. I've stripped it all and it's for sale, but I'm not sure what is needed to add this to another LX.

Assuming that the new owner would be coming from a non-nav unit, the one obvious thing is that a nav bezel is needed.

But aside from that, is the REC just plug and play? Would the new car need a flash? What about a nav antenna? Is it possible to (find and) remove my nav antenna?

One person that is interested in the REC unit has an '07 C without navigation but the Boston Premier system... so what would someone in that situation need to make this REC work?

Thanks as always for any help that can be shared.

Plug and play. Your NAV antenna is not needed to make it work. The buyer needs to purchase an aftermarket antenna compatible with the REC NAV and the map DVD for NAV to work. Did this with my truck last year. Worked like a charm.
