It's weird to see a Touring with SRT8 wheels. Never seen that before. Also, I used to own a 2003 Spiral Grey Corvette before my 300C. They're fun cars.

Actually, I was considering doing the entire front-end conversion, or at least swap-out the headlights with the new type projection lamps that you currently have, but I'm still awaiting the install estimates from one of our members/vendors.

I've always modded every vehicle I've ever owned, and I usually begin with the wheels/tires...unless it's a motorcycle. I like everything about the 'SRT-8' wheels; i.e., style, weight, look, fitment, composition, etc...which I had shod with the Goodyear 'Eagle F1 Supercar' tires in the staggered 245/255 set-up. My local Chrysler dealer ordered and installed the wheels and tires last year...as soon as they had become available from both Mopar and Goodyear.

Our Chrysler is one of the few (aside from an actual 'SRT-8') which hasn't had to utilize wheel spacers because of fitment issues related to 'running' these particular wheels/tires. I suppose that being somewhat unique, might just explain why our Chrysler received such very nice comments from both Ralph Gilles and Adam Forte of DCX at our 'Spring Fling' event this past Spring in Irvine, CA.

With regard to the C5...it's a totally different vehicle altogether, as well as being the quickest vehicle we've ever owned. Like with the Chrysler, we receive continual kudos from others regarding our 'vette, and my wife enjoys driving both of them equally. BTW, my 17 year-old took the 'vette for a drive yesterday (with me riding 'shotgun'), and one would've thought that he had just won the lottery or something...he was grinning from ear-to-ear!
