Black 300C in White Snow

As requested (HEMEE) :

Winter Wonderland

4 New Pirelli Scorpions just installed

Can you believe we have 5 months of this stuff!

Here's what it does to the carpets.

Gotta go - and blow the snow outta the pipes
- the only way I know how

Looks cold! I spent a few years in Alaska and your photos bring back some cold but fond memories.

God, that's an ugly looking car in the snow, you need the Satin Jade. LOL. I also see you have the same problem as me with the mats in the car with the light carpet. I also have the clear cheapie Walmart ones and I also bought the gray rubber pant savers at Cdn Tire, but they still don't do the job. I was thinking that if a person could buy a thin sheet of plastic and using a straight edge and a heat gun a person could make a pod that would also cover that step by your left foot, plus bring the plastic up the center hump by the gas pedal. Mine is dirty at that location too. Any thoughts?

The weather here in the west is still cold and snowing as I type, but I sure love the handling of this car in the snow and ice , and I won't be changing the tires, the contis are good enough for me.

That is SO cool (pun intended), thanks Patrick!! I love that angled shot especially, but I'm wondering how you plan to clean out those pipes ?

Mikeyjohn, you're prejudiced to the Satin Jade, I'm sure you're both very beautiful. I thought you Canadians all stuck together

Don't you pay no heed to that redneck Mikeyjohn, California Girl .
Pipes are clean - 4000 rpm in 4th gear - works every time! Gotta go clean the carpets.

Bye for now, gran.

Thankyou for not letting me think that iam the only one doing something wrong by driving in the 300c in the snow this year but so far the "salt assult" is really starting to get to me. and now after driving for 2 solid months in this "winter suck" Iam starting to wonder if getting rid of my landrover discover was such a good idea.
Living up here in the upper valley this is the first time in 6 years that winter hasnt been very good and the Rover would have been the perfect choice of auto for this ammount of white sh@#. I never realized you can get this car stuck in 2" of snow. but since there in no winter rubber this big yet I guess anything is possiable.
The only thing keeping me intrested in this big black hockey puck is that I went to Niagra Falls for Christmas this year and drove down. DRY FAST 4 lane heaven wow what a treat i envy the southern neighbour.
hope the pain will end soon, hopefully march this year, lol.
sorry to see the pics northern rider but i feal your pain.

I know only too well what your going through.

Man you need some better floor mats, that carpet ain't coming clean, I use the plastic sticky protector over the dead pedal used in home shows as clear runners . About $10 for a lifetime size roll at Lowes. I also use the weathertech carpet winter mats which are excellent but not a custom fit.

I got the carpet clean but it took a lot of effort (one of our businesses is a cleaning company). Now that it's clean, I'm going to look for that clear sticky protector you mentiond. Thanks. BTW, the carpets are like mouse fur.
