300C is Automobile Magazine car of the year

I saw the February issue of Automobile Magazine in the dentist's office yesterday. Anotrher win for the Chrysler 300(C) as Car of the Year. I pulled up their website but couldn't locate a page with the article, just the Table of Contents:

http://automobilemag.com/toc/0502_toc/

I thought the article was kind of lame. They made their pick on the basis of a 30 mile test drive - most of it spent in coffee shops and diners.

Here's a link to another thread. Automobile Mag has some great writers - very knowledgeble car nuts and gearheads. Don't be fooled by the laid-back writing style - these folks, especially Linda Jennings, really know cars, IMO:

Automobile Mag Names Chrysler 300C "Car of the Year"

Sorry for duplicating your thread NR! Before posting I did a search with "automobile magazine" instead of "automobile mag" and got nothing. (Administrator: no hurt feelings if you zap this thread).

Automobile Mag did have a very nice review article of the 300 back in May 2004. It was almost prophetic looking back at it now. I'm sure some of their earlier and more complete driving experiences entered into their decision too.
