Fresh wax job

I've been using Mother's California Gold for a while, and decided to try something different. I read a lot of reviews, and decided to try the Mother's FX SynWax. I used it on the 300, and it worked great. Very glossy, as if the car was covered with ice. But, it was a pain to take off. I had to wipe each spot at least three or four times to fully remove it. It was worth the pain and time, but I knew there was a better way. So I returned it and got the Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. I used it on my wife's black Mazda MX-5. Man, this stuff is great!!! The directions say to apply it to the entire car, let dry to a haze, and buff out. Most other waxes say to apply in a 2-3 square foot area, let dry to a haze, and remove. I'm sure you all know that takes forever. It went on easily, nice and thin and even with the provided applicator. It came off very easy also with a microfiber cloth. It provided the same ice texture and shines like crazy. I've known about this stuff for a while now, but never tried it for some reason. If anyone has wanted to try it, but not too sure about the quality or price ($15), try it. Walmart sells it so you can return it if you don't like it. It's a great product and I'll be using it for a long time.

I know our supporting vendors have some great products, and I'm sure most of them are better. For the average car owner who buys car care products at local stores, I highly recommend this stuff. Much respect to our supporting vendors

Here's some pics:
Can you say, "Metal Flake??"

your cars look awsome one question though, I have always heard to use a polish instead of a wax something to do with the wax will start to haze and cause a dull finish or that "not so clear look" maybe somone can clarify Ha Ha.

From what I know, you need both.

Polish will give depth to the paint itself and "polish" the paint.

Wax will smooth and add gloss to the clear coat.

The combination will give you a deep wet look that shines like crazy. I polished the MX-5 about four months ago with Nu Finish which is a once a year polish.
