personally i think all of those cars look terrible except the first white one. im still at a loss as to why people will put so much money into a 300 if it is not a C. thats like those people who buy a 1980-90's civic and slap a body kit and a huge wing on it. if your not going to do something right, dont do it at all. i understand that everyone out there can not afford a C, and they still want to jazz theirs up a lil bit (to each his own). but common, a base model 300, with spoke wire rims on it. puh.



ps-anyone know what black rims those are on the black base model above? im in the market for a set of black 22's and havent found anything thats good quality and in my price range yet.

I preface my comments by saying drive what you like, and who cares what others think.

But, I think the problem I have with gilding a base model of any car is that the significant money sunk in modifications would get you a much nicer car to begin with.

On the 300 especially, I'd much rather drive a C with stock wheels than a base with 22" spoked wheels, and the wheel tire combo is probably 90% of the cost diff.

yeh...but u figure a base can be like 23,000 and a top leval c is right at 40,k..thats 17'gs different. it's almost the differents b/t a C class benz and E class benz
