Man, those were awesome. Thanks for sharing!

But um, those are like the poster videos of what people do to rental cars and why you shouldn't buy them.

It's also why many rental companies won't rent to 23 year olds like me without huge surcharges.

Average Customer

Just what Chrysler engineers were planning on, no doubt.
Nice driving - but is it really a faster way to get around a corner?

Glad you enjoyed the videos, guys. Yes I realize the irony of taping something like that with a rented car...buuuuut it's worth it. Keep in mind that the car really isn't getting any more abuse than if someone had simply stomped on the gas on a dirty road. Just because it's sliding sideways doesn't mean it's being damaged. Plus since I'm under 25, I still had a $500 deductible, so I wasn't about to risk damaging the car by actually pushing it hard (I was being quite cautious in those runs).

Drifting certainly isn't the faster way to get around a corner (except for low traction racing such as rally), but I do it purely for fun factor. There's really nothing quite like a perfectly executed drift

Take care!

Welcome to the forums. Your videos were really fun Migs, but you need to make an editorial correction...

It's a 5.7L Hemi... not 5.4

AACK!! LOL... The only Ford's we've ever had were oldies, but we always put Chevy motors in 'em.

MIGS, whether or not you got the technical write-ups right, is less important than the fact your videos were so fun to watch, I almost felt the g's in the curve...nevertheless, you can have all my PMP points for the day.

Have a good weekend, and a hearty welcome...keep em coming.
