First thing I have to say is….WOW!!! I personally have never dealt with any type of product like the ones Billet Technology offers. I have seen many pictures online and I’ve also seen a few emblems in person but I never handled them myself. I am very impressed with the quality & precise fitment of ALL the pieces.
Believe me when I say….You don’t know how good these things are until you hold them in your own hands. Not only does it change the entire look of the car…it feels damn good too. I find myself randomly touching the switches and shifter just to feel the smoothness! Pictures do these things absolutely NO Justice!....well maybe a little. lol
Not only are the products bad ass…but the way they are wrapped for shipping is superb! Each piece is individually wrapped with a cloth type material, some with foam over that and then sealed in a plastic bag with detailed instructions for each one. I’ve dealt with many companies who don’t know the importance of shipping. BT knows very well. Again…I am impressed.
After opening a few of the bags and reading some of the instructions I felt a little confused???? I know these bad ass works of art can not be that easy to install…I was wrong. A lot of the pieces just snapped on. I attempted to pull them off (not using a lot of force but enough to test it ) and they didn’t come off. Some of the other pieces are snap on and held in place by a little allen head screw. Others are held down with double sided tape. Man are these things easy to install!
I did need a ratchet with a 10mm & 13mm socket. The 13 was to remove the front emblem and the 10 was to install the new one. Other than that, the only stuff I used was the allen keys that came with the pieces, some degreaser, pliers (used once), silicon (used once) and an olfa knife (thin razor & handle). The razor helped me get all the backings off the double sided tape without actually removing the tape from the pieces. Very useful..
There are a few things I wanted to point out if you’re going to do the install. The info is directly related to the piece your installing.
1. Power Steering Cap & Transmission Fluid Cap –I found it easier to put the new cap on the old one and tighten the screw with it on the car. That way it was lined up perfectly.
2. Oil Dipstick – Use the included screw and tap out the old pin far enough to grab it with the pliers and pull it out. When pushing the new pin in the BT piece, I just covered it with some tissue and squeezed the pin in with the pliers rather than tapping it in.
3. Front Emblem – When removing the nut (13mm), hold down the emblem so it doesn’t twist and cut/scratch the bumper. I didn’t even notice until it was too late. FYI, you can reach the front emblem by removing the front two appearance panels by the latch.
Other than that, the install will be very easy. Now for the horde of pictures….Click on the links next to them if you want to see the larger ones. Please let me know if any of the links do not work.
Awesome write up. Thank you very much for the time spent detailing everything with not on;y the written, but the photo. I personally have not had the pleasure to deal with Billet Tech( not yet anyway),but it's glad to see we have another quality vendor on this site. We are blessed we a whole slew of good ones.
Your mods came out great. Thanks again for sharing!!!

Thanks! It took longer to do the writeup and pictures then it took to install everything. You should definitely try them out. Well worth the investment!
