Got up at 7 this morning and washed the car. It was supposed to hit 100 today so if my baby was gonna get clean, it had to happen early. After I finished, I decided to take care of a couple things that have been bothering me. I replaced my stock HID's for 6000's and I also took care of a wart in my interior.
I have the Harmon Kardon Drive+Play iPod interface in my car but the control knob doesn't match anything else in the car. I bought a 2nd unit because the 1st had a problem with the left channel. I decided to paint the new knob to match. Also, the rotating part of the knob is aluminum so I sanded and polished it. Now it matches the BT knobs much better.
I also took some new pics after I finished. Hope you enjoy them.

I also found out today that the building in the background was a Ford assembly plant and was once the largest on the West Coast. During WWII, it built Jeeps and tanks.
