Brampton builds 18,000 cars in July

Brampton built an estimated 11,044 300's and 7,145 Magnums in July. I believe they are working six days a week, so that equates to about 700 cars per day if they are on a 31 day reporting calender (18,189 / (31 - 5 Sundays) = 700). But there was the July shut-down, so the last week of July may be a better indicator of the actual units being built, which averages around 900 cars per day.
This is slightly lower than the 968 units per day quoted for the Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler Concorde, Chrysler 300M.

Per this slightly outdated article, 23,000 300's were sold alone in the month of June. This doesn't even include the Magnums. Assuming a 40% ratio of Magnums to 300s, the Magnums would have been around 15,000 in June = total 38,000 sales in June.

That is a book to bill ratio of around 1.62 requiring 42 workdays (or 7 weeks) to build the June orders alone.
The wait only gets worse when you add the prior backlog plus the new July orders which were probably at least as high as June.

We all knew the plant was backlogged. These numbers show why.
More gloom as the wait continues

More info on the same subject.
The last sentence says there is 90 days of backlog.
If nothing changes, this implies that orders placed today will take around 13 weeks to ship. I ordered end of May and my car was apparently built yesterday. Assume 3 weeks in transit, I will have waited at least 12 weeks.

Brampton Assembly Plant Workers Vote In Favour of Extending Production Hours
-- Posted on Sunday, August 1 2004
Brampton Assembly Plant workers voted to allow the production shift to be extended to 9 hours per day at a Special Meeting held earlier today. About 70% voted in favour of the proposal. 889 votes were cast. 262 voted against the proposal. The company is expected to take advantage of the opportunity afforded by the membership as of August 9th. The extended hours are for a 90 day period only. Shift schedules will become:

Monday to Friday
Days - 5:30 am to 3:00 pm (9 hours)
Afternoons - 3:30 p.m. to 1:00 am (9 hours)
Mandatory Saturdays
Days - 5:30 am to 2:00 pm (8 hours)
Afternoons 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm (8 hours)

The overwhelming demand for 300C's and Magnums is the reason for the extended hours.
There are already about 90 days of orders for the 2005 model year.
