Same with me. Likely waiting until spring. But I will need to dig up a how to for the lip install. Let me know how it goes.

And the tint looks great! :fing02: Yet another thing I need to do. Next day off is Wed... hmmmmm....

#35 ·
Lots of good stuff here, I'm surprised you've kept the stock rims.

#37 ·
There are a few blemish marks idk if it was a combo of sanding or the original clear coat coming off but i'll redo it come spring but for now enjoy the following pics

Valid point. Still debating a dash kit though. Maybe a combo of both. Hmmmm...

Add to your mod list a new helmet.

still wondering what i should do with the fogs....
and hoping next week i might have the halos hooked up again, give or take if all the LEDs work in them, but might put a deposit on the new colorshift ones

#48 ·
What fogs? Are my eyes so bad I can't see them. Some Gat style

#50 ·
Headlights look great! I'm really trying to make that my next mod. Just still desperately trying to find out the halo sizes. Anyways, looks like a matte finish paint, correct? And did you tint your lenses or do they just look that dark from the painted housings? Looks nice man - clean install. :fing02:

Projectors for sure!!!!!! I love mine > http://www.300cforums.com/forums/lighting-discussion/91989-projector-hid-fog-lights-led-halos.html

Don't see why you can't have your cake and eat it too - blacked out projectors with dual halos....

Go for it! That's basically the same thing I did. We have the same fog lights it appears - only difference is that I went with a smaller halo around the projector and kept that chrome plastic thingy to mount the halo to. He removed the thingy and went with a larger halo, mounting it directly to the housing. (If you do just the smaller halo, you don't have to crack the lense open - one bonus).

So a combination of KSC's fogs and my fogs might be just what you are looking to do. You could get the same projector fogs (think I paid only $50 or so). The housings are black, the projector is black, and the plastic thingy is chrome - you can paint that black (wish I did). Yank out the cheapo halo that comes with them and add a new LED halo to the plastic thingy (70mm ring is a perfect fit). Then mount a larger halo (don't know what size KSC used) to the housing. Seal it up and boom... you have blacked out dual halo projector fogs.

Here are mine:

Here are his:

Now just imagine if they could have babies. ;)

oh sorry...
yea no clue, primer grey them like 2 times, then countless times over them with glossy black, and glossy clear and some reason it looks flat black...
so go figure but no the lenses arent tinted, it almost looks like i used plastidip lol Either way i like it better than if i was going to do glossy so looks like the error was in my favor ;)

i'll try and take some better pictures in a week or so, my baby hasnt been cleaned in over a month and theres pine sap like an 1" thick on her :(

Looks good. :fing02:

Front end looks "meaner"

#57 ·
*updating*
Halos are connected back up, Highbeam rings have some LEDs out, installed DC strut brace, and installed projector fogs.
Have to order new HID bulbs and figure out how i'm getting halos inside them.
Also ordered VDI(lambo hinges)
and
when ever gabe descides to swap exhaust i'll have the JBA catback and HHP highflow cats

#58 ·
I don't see any pictures, so I don't believe you. ;)

Ian,
When you had your Strut covers painted Red in your engine bay, did you do it and if so, what type of paint did you use. I did not want to use the wrong paint with how hot it gets in the engine. Or on those pieces it would not get that hot and you could use some Krylon type paint? Thanks!
