Chrysler Gold Medal Tour= Hemi carnage

Hi, guys. Over from the Grand Cherokee forums. We just had our Chrysler "Gold Medal Tour" here last week, with the 300 Hemi, Viper, SRT10, Crossfire, etc. This was the 300 Hemi. Still has the invoice stuck on the window. Anyway, it was pristine last time I saw it when it just came off the trailer. On Saturday, I was cruising the local dealer lot and came across this. Don't know any details yet, but I'll post the story as soon as I find out. What a waste!

Dave

That would have probably be the first totaled hemi in existance, besides the ones used for crash testing... So sad that this fine machine had such a short life....

The only 300's that I have seen upclose are the Hemi C's. Just wondering what the difference in the two grilles are...

Thanks,
Ron

Ouch, thats too bad...Looks like it got nailed by something large if you look at that trunk...Possibly even flipped or somethin. Wonder who's fault/how it happened?

Holla when you know the story.

I don't think the grilles are different between the different models. The headlight molding and front bumper is different, but not the grille, right?

Unless, of course, the 300C has a chrome grille and the 300 doesn't.

There is some chrome on the grill of the 300C, but it's very subtle IMHO.

I'd like to get my hands on that wreck for a couple thousand. Put a nice new Hemi and a five-speed auto in my brother's '88 Diplomat.
