ekool, our administrator, wants "stickies" limited to about 5 per forum; so that has been done.

While I don't agree because some essential info will scroll off unless members continue to add to those threads, I do understand the need for the appearance of less complexity.

Let's see what happens. Anyone unhappy with this new limit, please tell ekool, not me.

So, where did the stickies go? What, a couple of people bitch and the owner of the site gets rid of them. These things were not only helpful to our senior members, they also are a prime source of information for our new members.

Why do you think people become members of this site? Do you think that the main reason is they're seeking information on the 300? And where was some great information about the 300 right at a person's fingertips?.....in the stickies.

So people who read them had to scroll down the page a bit. So what...get over it.

Not a good decision......not a good decision at all.

As I said, complain to ekool, the administrator.

The stickies are still here on the board in their forums, you now just have to look down below the stickies. Since they are no longer "sticky", the info therein will scroll off the board and be lost sometime routinely in the future. They will be normal threads in the order of the last posting. Those with a recent post will be toward the top, just like the sticky version. The only difference is the location within the forum index and the possibility of losing info more quickly.

Yell if you have specific items you need to find. Don't forget to use "Active Topics" at the top of the home page; it's shows the 50 most recently posted threads.

I am not crazy about "stickies", however, they may be useful to some. The new "Top 5 Stickies' setup is a lot nicer. It does not require so much scroll down. I like it a lot better.
