Talking vBPicGallery Is Now Open to All Members!

Attention All Members:

You each now have your very own vBPicGallery! The pics in these galleries will also be randomly featured on the Forums Index Page.
You can access vBPicGallery several ways:
  • User CP
  • Quick Links à vBPicGallery
  • Click Member Username à vBPicpGallery
This feature was beta-tested by Premium Members and we believe all the 'bugs' have been worked out. We'd appreciate it if you would take a moment to let one of us know if you encounter any problems. Be sure to indicate whether it is the new vB Gallery or the original Premium Member's Gallery with which you are having those problems!

As a reminder, here are the details:
  • Premium Members have 5 Galleries @ 6 photos each
  • Members have 1 Gallery @ 3 photos each
  • Photos are limited to 300,000 bytes each
  • Each gallery includes a spec sheet to fill out if you feature a car
As always, no photos that are not work/family safe!
Enjoy this new feature

a problem, at least for me...

Not sure if this is where you want us to mention any problems or if it should be somewhere else. If it is somewhere else I assume you will move it there. Thanks!

I am again assuming I am a new vB Gallery member as I am not a Premium user.

While I was making up the “MyvBPicGallery “, I had the opportunity to answer some questions about the vehicle itself and thought I could go back to it later. I can't seem to find how to access that portion again. I have clicked on, what I believe to be all the links, and can’t find those questions again. Of coarse, I can’t do a new one as I have already created one.

I have hit the “MyvBPicGallery Hall” and have hit the “MyvBPicGallery” but the questions are not there. Just a place to add comments and upload pics. Can you tell me how to get there again? Or have I just lost the opportunity?

Thanx,
Gary

Hi Gary,
Go to User CP > vBPicGallery > click on the gallery you wish to edit
At the very top frame of the gallery you will see the gallery title: CRUZRs XXXX Gallery, followed by 2 options: (delete) (edit) > Click (edit)

That should do it!

I believe I ended up in the correct place but when I click on Use CP, the only place I find “vBPicGallery” is under the Control Panel on the left and it actually says “Edit vBPicGallery” when I click on that it takes me to I can Edit or Delete my Gallery.
Control Panel
Settings & Options
Edit Signature
Edit vBPicGallery

"Edit vBPicGallerys"
That is where I was, after clicking on the “Edit” link, when I find the “Text Description” and the "Upload files”. Unfortunately the original questions are not to be found.

I tried to make a copy but it just won't carry over to this.

Still looking,
Gary

I believe you didn't go far enough...
When you get to that page you described, you will see a list of your existing galleries toward the bottom of the screen, you must select the gallery you wish to edit.

When you get to the next page, follow my last instruction:
At the very top frame of the gallery you will see the gallery title: CRUZRs XXXX Gallery, followed by 2 options: (delete) (edit) > Click (edit)

Let me know how it works out...
As a sidenote, it's much easier to read posts that are not typed in all bold font

No matter how I get there I end up with the same editting mode.

The following is the best I can do for cut n paste....

CRUZRs vBPicGallery

Edit OptionsYear Make Model:
(Required Field) Subject
(optional):Type
(optional):

This is just above the "Text Description:

vB code is On
Smilies are On
[IMG] code is Off
HTML code is Off"

and the "Uploaded Image(s):" area. These are the only options that I can edit.

"Year Make Model:",

Subject
(optional): and

Type
(optional):

Below this area is where the original area was that was available to add remarks to about the Engine and other mods.
Now all I have is... (again the best cut n paste that can be done)
Edit vBPicGallerysGalleryImagesCommentsViewsCreatedLast ActivityEditDelete2006 Chrysler 300C HEMI Vanilla Cool Dark Slate Gray over Light Slate Gray009Yesterday 10:26 PMYesterday 10:26 PM

and if I click on the gallery or edit I come right back to the same page

I have not tried to "Delete" it and rebuild it. That may get me back to where the other options are again available.

Thanks for the help... Time to hit the sack. I will check back on Wed. and try again.

Thanx,
Gary

Below is the screen I get when I CLICK ON THE GALLERY TITLE
The (Edit) hyperlink at the end of the very top line is what I am referencing.
Everything you've done until you get to the Edit vBPicGallery seems correct.

Give it another try when you can and PM your results so I can try to figure out if you're missing a step or if there is a bug...
then as a last resort I'd say delete, but I'd like to work it through if you're willing.

Good night

Sorry, it took so long to get back... but I have gone back a couple of different times since my last post. I still only get the same as I stated before. I don’t get the same as you do.

Don’t know why???,
Gary

Gary, my advice at this point would be to delete and start anew. Sorry, let me know how that works out.
