SRT Q&A Session Wed 5/17/06 Right Here!

The next SRT Engineering chat session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17th. The session runs from 6 to 8pm EST and will be held here in the SRT Q&A Forum.

As usual, there will be no questions answered regarding the Dodge Challenger concept, however the recently announced SRT-4 Caliber is fair game as is the new Jeep Cherokee SRT-8

Last but not least, don't forget to drop by our newest forum dedicated to the Dodge Nitro at the following URL: http://www.dodge-nitro.com.

I know many may ask....

so for the record I am requesting that someone make sure to ask about the supposed final Brake fix for our SRT8's. I know they have mentioned it should be out in June, but my 1 year anniversary is next week, so the more details the better. My dealer is telling me to have the current brake fix done just to be safe. I am crossing my fingers.

If you run into them at a donut shop or car gathering it's okay to ask about the Challenger. But here, in our house, we can limit our questions to cars we already know about? The Nitro & the Caliber are great cars, I'm sure. But as an SRT-8 owner looking at the next bad ass car coming off the line from DCX what do I care about those cars? The Jeep GC SRT-8? Very cool. I've already drven it, flogged it, read about it..... So what's the point.

The Dodge Challenger? Now there's something I would actually like to discuss. Oh that's right, we're not allowed here. Well, I guess it's off to the Donut Shop, or a car gathering or that "Other Forum".

See Ya!

I appreciate what you saying Dan, but they're just not allowed to talk about it. I do know they come here on their own time and it's beyond their control what they're allowed to say. I think we should all be happy they at least make the effort to tell us what they can on this and the other SRT forums.

It's not a matter of not being "allowed" to ask, it's that corporate restrictions prevent the SRT Team from responding, so it's pointless to ask.
I'd be willing to bet they are just as eager to discuss the Challenger, and other concepts, as most of us are... but it can't happen -yet.
I hope the SRT Team is welcomed and appreciated, in spite of any disappointment, so they will be happy to keep doing this for us (on their own time) until they ARE able to discuss it!!

It's almost SRT Chat time!
Here is a link to the SRT Team Forum, a thread will be started there soon....
Post your questions there and, please, let the SRT Team do the answering of the questions posed.
-Thanks!
