Need some help!

I recently purchased a used 06 300c SRT-8 with 10,000mi. Anyone ever know of any frontend probs with this thing? According to the history on the car its on its 3rd rack and its still not right. It feels like the front wheel is goin to fall off when you back up and turn the steering wheel when its cold. If it was front wheel drive I'd say the cv axle is shot. The last dealer told me this is normal and I'm goin to have to live with it cuz it runs factory 20's. What kinda crap is that!!? Is this true??

Yes, it is normal. It's weird, and the SRT Engineers did address it at one of their chats. They basically said, and I kind of agree, they were engineered to go forward really well. The back-up deal is something you have to deal with for the set up we are running. I've driven racecars before and they don't back up very good either.

I haven't heard of anything remotely similar to yours in almost 2 years here. This is not something that is at all common. What's the history of the car??? From Ralph Gilles' own mouth, and I para phrase, "these cars are designed for 20" wheels". Any previous front end damage?

I gather from your user name you think you have a lemon. That should at least get you some attention around here. Welcome in any case, but your posting this in the wrong forum. You'd be better posting it in the Problems/Dealer Service forum here for more exposure... http://www.300cforums.com/forums/pro...ealer-service/.

EDIT: I just read your post Moose. I guess I missed the back up part...haha. Still I've never seen it mentioned before.
