Moving the forums to a new server...

The 300Cforums.com website has grown considerably in the past 6 months, and we have outgrown our current server. We will be moving to some dedicated hardware in the next hour or so, so you might notice some slight problems. Things should be back up and normal within 2 hours or so.

However, should you run into anything that does not work properly, please post it in here. Thank you for your support!

Aww man, I had come on and I was going one by one through the "new posts" and then I guess you guys started the switch and I couldn't access the threads. Now I click new posts and I only see this thread.

But no worries, when that happened, I had my "new posts" results page and I never closed it. So now I am still view them

Yah, thats normal. You got that during a brief move over period, but all should be well now.

Try using the "Active Topics" in the navbar... I find it to be awesome

So how exactly does the Active Topics work. Like how far back does it consider "active"? and if a old thread gets a new thread, is it considered active again?

It shows you the latest 40 topics. That is, the last 40 threads where a reply has been made. Everytime someone replies to the thread, it would bump it back onto the Active Topics list until 40 other topics were replied to, at which time it would be off the list unless someone replies to it again in the mean time.
