It is a common pastime for us to sit around and talk about what should have been done on this vehicle or that vehicle to make it the ultimate car. Gearheads are united in the fact that we can never fully agree on what constitutes a perfect performance machine. Now is your chance to let your voice be heard however and have a true hand in the future development of the next SRT vehicle.
We have been contacted by the SRT Engineering Team to help spread the word and get as much feedback as possible from the communities that buy these things! Please take a moment out of your day and head over to the following URL and participate in the very quick survey. Your feedback helps out a ton in allowing SRT to decide the most efficient use of their engineering resources... and the more efficient they can do that, the more efficient our potential purchase will ultimately end up. Everyone wins.
Edit: Link Removed -- Thanks everyone who participated, they got plenty of feedback and no longer need the survey filled out!
After completing the survey, please chime in here and let us know your thoughts and let us know you completed the survey. I'd like to see us really take advantage of this opportunity and the more the merrier!
Survey done. Wished there had been a question related to manual tranny vs. auto-stick automatic!
Seemed like a fairly superficial survey to me... wasn't nearly what I was expecting... if they "really" are wanted to know muscle car, enthusiast input.

In love with my first wife & first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife
but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!
One of the serious problems in planning against Canadian doctrine is that the Canadians do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligations to follow their doctrine.
Well, yes and no. It will not void your warranty if you return it back to the stock settings when you bring it in for service. If they find the transmission torque management programming or other settings have been modified and then you have a transmission problem or issue related to the settings, the warranty is void. I assume there is no way the service tech will ever know anything was changed so long as it is returned to the factory settings, but I don't want to sneak around tinkering with things behind their back.
This message is intended for an SRT engineer and for Chrysler to get my feedback. The transmission programming for the SRT8 sucks A$$. My brothers 1971 GTO has firmer shifts. This is my #1 area of dissatisfaction with my SRT8, so I hope someone is listening. It's a shame that I can only get a bark from the tires when NOT GOING WOT!!!! Acceleration is still excellent, but it would be better if the shifts were firmer and quicker. My point is that I don't think we should have to go out and spend more money and then tinker with the programming then return it to stock just to bring it in for service. I hate tinkering with stuff. I'm not into modding. Message to Chrylser: I shouldn't have to buy a programmer and sneak around behind your backs to get the kind of shifts I would expect from a high-performance car.
