This was a board I was on way before I even got the car last September. We'll call it my first. Since then this place has gone to crap. Im not trying to knock anyone I'm just giving up my 2 cents. I see this as a step in the right direction to "right the ship" if you will. I have since ventured off onto other boards and also trying to assist in creating one. I will send my congrats to you Pat and offer my help if you need assistance is shovling out the crap.
This thrills me. Someone who has raced and loves cars for other reasons than just looks! My feeling was this forum had become too directed towards children and had forgotten that adults frequent forums too. NR, I favor your administration based on your track record!
Since the beginning of this Forum many, many of us has provided or received help, solutions, advice, etc to/from our LX Community and You are one among them so well deserve your new position at the forum.
Thanks to all of you for the encouraging posts, pm's, emails and phone calls.
Hopefully, this week, I will be able to announce my new team going forward. As well, we will announce the first of many forum improvements that we plan to put in place.
Look for a much more visual site with lots of "eye candy" - pics and videos of members rides.
We have some technical issues to overcome, the main one being how to have members easily access the huge data base of solutions to problems, "how-to" threads, etc. that are buried in the hundreds of thousands of posts here. We will be calling on those of you with database experience to serve on a temporary work group to come up with a good cataloging and search solution.
Personally, I have been quite humbled by the enthusiasm and support that has been expressed so far.
I plan to enjoy this "honeymoon" while it lasts!!!
