It is my pleasure. I hope to help a little. Good to be allied with those such as yourself, GT.

Same to you, Matt. Long time. Between my day job 'promotion', which ratcheted up my stress level about a zillion percent, and my ... 'other' job, which is another stress factory, I haven't been doing much online, but I do very much enjoy stopping by.

How could I forget? That was a scary problem to have far far from home, although you certainly have the "damage in the middle of nowhere" story beat with your Mexico adventures.

Now THAT is amazing. Pat you must be a hell of a mechanic because the way I remember it you basically used an off-size nut, a mallet and some really strong language to get that thing back together. That was almost two *years* ago! I felt bad about cutting off our scavenger hunt and running to my last track session. I'm really glad it worked out.

Likewise. Its a damn shame we aren't closer together. I am doing a track day per month now with my new setup. Buttonwillow in a couple weeks. Thunder Hill next month. Laguna again in December. You hitting the track at all these days? I've learned a lot about keeping the car in one piece and not burning up rubber and brake pads/rotors lately.
better save all that for another thread. Again... great to see you all on the case...
