(subtitled: old faces being arm twisted into more jobs)
After a much needed break from cyberspace to help out with family illnesses, Linda has become active again. Together we will administer the daily functions of the forum and do our best to make new features come alive for our members in the future.
Without any further ado, dear members, here is your starting lineup going forward
Administrators
HEMEEE - Northern Rider - JayC
Super Moderators
(in alphabetical order)
Bruno; CUEBALL; GoofyTimL; Michaelr; Rambit
Section Moderators & General Moderation:
Performance: stevesrt8
Working with the Super Moderators, Steve will help see that performance interests are organized on the forum, tailored for the gear heads to find info, “how to’s”; motorsports events; timeslips, etc., which may include adding new sections and/or altering current ones
Eye Candy: Appointment Pending
As above, but for members who like to make appearance mods or just enjoy looking at the thousands of great pics that are posted here.
Australia:Hemi57 - has done a wonderful job here and we say ‘Carry on, John'. Overseas:watsonofearnock – will manage the overseas section and Euro models
Information Retrieval Team: Pending
This is another project that will hopefully tag most of the informational posts so that members can retrieve information quickly and on target on just about any subject related to our cars. This is a long term task, so please do not expect the results any time soon.
Finally, we want to thank each and every one of you for just being you. This forum is one of the most comfortable places on the web to kick back for a few minutes, largely due to you, the members who keep it a fun, welcoming and informative place to hang out. The key here always will be respect for your fellow members, even when you disagree or your opinions differ.
If you see spam, porn, vendor rules violations, or a member who has lost his cool and is posting personal attacks, etc., PLEASE click the “Report” button next to the post in question. Your reported post goes straight to the Super Mods. With 5 (count them) Super Mods, the problem should be resolved in short order and will be done so confidentially. Please remember that, at 3CF, each and every one of us can make the forum experience better for ourselves and the collective forum membership and ensure that it is a place that new members will want to join and contribute to as well.
Please join us in a big “Thank You” to each of the above members who have offered to give of their time to serve this community.
Let me be the first to extend a warm welcome to the new team!
Pat and I appreciate your commitment and support and we're here to assist you in any way we can as you become familiar with your new roles.
While I was setting everyone's new status, I also changed the color for super mods to distinguish from moderators and emboldened Premium Members as well.
Thanks NR and HEMEEE for giving me an opportunity to be a more integral part of the forum. The success going forward will be based on putting the fun in and the hostility out, sprinkled with lots to technical stuff.
Congrats to all the others in the team.
You soon will know what it's like to carry a burden, both good and bad.
I wish something for you all that Michaelr pointed out, and that's the "keeping the fun in and hostility out."
Now that roles have changed please don't change yourselves, because IT WILL be expected of you.
No matter what people say about how they expect you to be as a moderator you shouldn't change your posting style or what genuinely makes You, You! Continue to be yourselves and express your opinions just as you always have.
Godspeed!

I feel like I'm the "newbie" in this role... lots of patience will be required (of me from you all) I'm sure. But I always say, the only stupid question is the one not asked... so I plan to ask about a lot of things!
And... couldn't my identification be "GoofyModerator" ??? seems like it would be more fitting....
LOL
