180 degree thermostat

1.Is there any performance advantage, given climatic variation in North America to using a 180deg instead of a 195deg thermostat, with or without lower temp. electric cooling fan activation. Yes/No

2. Given the fuel injection electronic control computer, through sensor needs to recognize the the engine has warmed up in order to phase out cold enrichment, will a 180deg thermostat cause the engine to run too cool and not allow the computer to achieve correct running fuel/air mixture, possibly causing -over an extended period of time premature engine wear. Yes wear/No wear

I have not submitted the questions to the SRT team yet, I will wait another few days and submit them by email.

Dampers and brake material

1. Given that Bilsteins are a respected high performance shock absorber. What was the reason for using Bilstein fronts and Sachs Nivomat Rears on the SRT8 as opposed to Bilstein all around? Would Bilsteins all-round have given a higher level of performance?

2. How would you describe the limit of factory SRT8 brake pad material: high performance street capable or track capable?

It's already been asked several time and several ways, but my biggest complaint with the SRT8 so far is the Brake Problems. Therefore, two related questions:

1) Are the brake problems being addressed by DCX?
2) Will there be a recall or avenue for getting these problems fixed? I'm holding off taking mine in for
service because i don't want to do it twice. If there is a fix in the works, I'll wait.

My brakes have been sqeaking for 2 months now and I have to say, it is embarrasing and irritating for a new Luxury car. Not good for DCX's reputation either. I have seated them twice and will try it again, but that won't fix the brake dust problem.
