Ask the SRT team a question! [Submit Questions Inside]

We are trying to work out a deal with DCX where we can submit a few questions to them and have them answered. Its not 100% sure, but we are going to give it a shot (so don't be disappointed if it falls through)

The questions should be in regard to the SRT line of vehicles, and specifically the SRT-8 300C and SRT-8 Charger.

Please reply to this thread with your question, I will send them to the correct representative at DCX.

Not all questions will be answered, it will be up to the SRT team to choose the questions they wish to answer.

I have 2 questions.

1.) Why are all of our brake rotors showing uneven and premature wear due to poor pad compound selections?

2.) Why do our fuel cutoff/rev limiters always kick in between shifts causing poor shifts and sloppy performance?

ok 3 questions

3.) How do we fix or get a fix for these issues!!!!!?????

EKool - I have one...

with multiple parts...
When is my car going to be built?
I have heard two excuses so far...
and have been patient to a point...
I ordered the car well in front of some fellow members but still have not even advanced to D1 status as of today...
#1 - Kicker issue...
#2 - then fasteners for the amp and Sub...
now someone says on the Brampton Site website they are having "issues" with the harnesses for the Kicker...
And production numbers are way down as a result...
when can we expect a stready stream of cars that are 300C SRT-8's outfitted with the Kicker systems in them?
Specifically mine...
trying not to be self-serving here, but after 4 months...
My patience is gone...
Thanks you for facilitating this...
Sincerely,

1. What are the official production numbers for ALL 05 SRT8's built.
2. Has anyone looked into low dust pads.

1. Will the 6.1L intake manifold fit on the 5.7?
2. what about 6.1 cylinder heads? will they fit also?
3. Will there be a 6.1 crate motor?

Hope those will be answered, a simple yes or no will be great for me.

Are the cars being produced at max capacity or is DCX holding back? If DCX is holding back, don't they realize what a bad idea that is? Don't they think they should ride the wave and sell as many as they can as fast as they can before the car becomes long in the tooth? I've heard people say "they learned their lesson from the PT Cruiser," but to me that seems like they learned the wrong lesson: the PT Cruiser didn't stop selling because they sold too many too fast, but because with time it lost it's appeal. If they made them slowly, they would have sold a few cars and never seen profit dollar 1.

On a less serious note, where the frick-frack is the car my dad ordered on 2/5/05?
