MOPAR Summer Auto Festival
This is the show Nor-Cal has been waiting for!
Sunday, August 14th, 2005.
12 p.m. – 7 p.m. in Lathrop, CA.
For the first time in automotive history, a show this large is being held at a Daimler-Chrysler facility. Watch the only drift exhibition in Nor-Cal featuring the “Crazy Swede”, Samuel Hubinette, 2004 Formula D Drift Champion. Skylines, Vipers, Mustangs, and S2000’s will be burning enough tires to make your eyes tear. Yokohama Tires is the one of the official tires for the event, in addition to sponsoring the Drift Show. Yes, the Championship Viper will be drifting!
Just because it is at the Mopar facility doesn’t mean there won’t be any hot tuner cars. Over 50 classes. Any vehicle, year, make, or model is encouraged to show up proving who has the hottest ride in Nor Cal. Alsa Corp is sponsoring the tuner car show portion.
Eight Best of Shows, with cash and prizes (audio systems, apparel, detail kits, and more). In addition, there will be random giveaways throughout the day, i.e. Las Vegas weekend packages and much more!
GoFast Sports will be sponsoring their extreme parachuting team to land inside the tuner portion of the event, and will have their “Rocket Man” fly around the show crews and film off a camera located on his helmet. We will have DJ Skribble performing sets throughout the show, along with an MTV crew filming the event.
The event will be featured in the following magazines: Mopar Magazine, Mopar Collections, Mopar Muscle, Viper Magazine, HCI Magazine, Speed Style & Sound Magazine, Import Racer Magazine, Car Sound and Performance Magazine, and Euro Tuner Magazine.
Among the biggest sponsors are Mopar, Arceo Wheels, Meguiar’s, Mini Thins, Konig, MTX, Streetwires, Aza Wheels, and Projekt Cars.
