My 300 Heritage reminds me of the 68 Roadrunner I had from 68 - 75 as far as size goes. I bought a 'cuda in 74 & had medium to small sized Mopars ever since. I can't wait 'til the Challenger hits the floor, my LX will be gone for sure. It's a very nice car just too big for me.

Bought my 300c july 2006 from dealer in Cornwall On. It had 30,000 Km and was a 1 Year Chrysler exec lease return.Saved a bundle!Wife later trashed her beloved '97 Volvo (400,000km)that september during a rain storm. What did I do? I sent her to look at a Charger but she came home with a beauty.
A red Magnum fully loaded with the 3.5HO.Again it was a 1 year Chrysler lease return and you guessed it ,I saved a bundle!
LX's rule!

so far my experiences have been that its a great car but the transmission was giving me problems, but it was under warranty and covered. interior is nice but its apparent that DCX cut corners here and there to keep costs down. the tortoise shell on the top of the steering wheel gets toasty in the summer. the air conditioning is much better in GM cars but the auto Lo/Hi settings are pretty cool. the power is great but the fuel efficiency is about 15 mpg on the non-SRT which means it can burn through a tank a week just going back and forth around town. the sound system is amazing for stock and the bass response is nice. MDS shoulda been able to have been activated by a switch, but soon a hybrid is coming out so i hear.

exterior-amazing.

interior-about average with a few outstanding areas.

Drive/Powertrain- excellent performance, mediocre gas mileage.

as far as the car goes if i were looking for another sedan and i had the money i'd definately go out and buy another LX. maybe an SRT but gas is a factor. hopefully the future SRTs will have MDS or something.

the price was right for this car but hopefully if i dont screw up too badly a Z06 is in my near future, i'll get the same mileage but 505hp.

I came across a Plum Crazy Charger SRT8 while on vacation. Only 299 produced. Nice car to "race on weekends" and keep mileage low. But I passed on the deal...w/o really haggling ...dealer started off 2k under MSRP.

NO lifetime warranty and no 0%. I paid MSRP form my 300C SRT8 way back when.

I dont think us SRT8 owners should be penalized for buying the Premier products. I mean is that how other businesses treat thier top customers?
I know i don't treat mine like that. Normally the people who spend the most get the better deals. Just my opinion...what are yours?

BTW...Since returning from vacation, now back in South Florida i have come across 3 other PC SRT8s. Saw one at the "event", dealer said the would probably sell under MSRP. Saw 2 @ one dealership, they wanted 25,000 for the limited editiin color. lol....plus 1600 or 1800 for "paint sealant package"

I think i'm over the purple .....but not sure yet...lol

But to answer the question...under the right circumstances I would love to buy another LX.

Not only would I buy another, but I am on my second 300C SRT-8.

My first was a 2005 Bright Silver; my current one is a 2006 Silver Steel with almost 19,000. I absolutely love them.

I took it to from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada, and back over the holidays; taken it up and down CA Central Coast; recently took it Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. It averages 22 mpg in freeway driving, and the power and comfort are simply unreal.

Consumer Reports is consistently biased

Anyone familiar with Consumer Reports knows that it LOVES Japanese and HATES domestics cars, anyway.

Well, I have just over 2222 miles on it, so I really can't say anything on the reliability end of it (coming from a 2003 Jaguar X-Type that contrary to CR ratings, never gave me a single problem in the 4+ years).

From the looks and comments I have gotten so far, and the lovely noise of the Corsa exhausts on the 5.7L Hemi, I'd say I would have zero problems buying another one. I got a ton of car (well, actually 2 tons!) for a not so large price. The seats and cabin are comfy, the air conditioning works well, the car rides well and oh, yeah, did I mention I LOVE THE HEMI!!!

Had a thought about a Jaguar "S", and there was a late model XKR coupe on the lot. Then I had a thought about the Hemi - need I say more. I have never looked back.

It has been my observation that CR values things about cars that I don't, and I value things they have no appreciation for. One of these days, I will have my little, gas-sipping car (I've had many in the past). Until then I will have my Big Iron and will enjoy every minute of it!

Long live the LX!

Not sure. I think I might stay away from American cars.

I've had a couple of the glitches that many others have had but I've taken my 300 to a local Dodge dealer who fixes it right. I would definitely buy another Chrysler.
