my first chrysler was a 78 plymouth horizon(sucked), then a 95 eagle vision(good). now i own the 300c (better). i plan on running this car into the ground or until i hit one million miles. the only way i will buy another one is if they make a powerful car that gets excellent milage too. owned this one for going on 4 yrs now with no real problems outside of regular wear and tear.

I feel your pain on the Horizon (also Dodge Omni). My wife had an 82 and it was the worst car we ever owned. I swear they were like disposable Bic lighters.

I love this car. I bought it as a daily driver, and the only problems have been inflicted by the weather, and the damn cart jockey @ the grocery store. Its my first nice, new car, a gift to myself after selling my business. I had my eye on the 300s since the introduction, and after finding out about the motor, AWD and price. I've had no trips to the dealership, knock on wood. This is the best news, my local dealership has a bad rep, and I bought it from a dealer three hours away. I also was surprised to find such and active, helpful, and educated group of enthusiasts. The other cars I own have active groups fixing & moding them, but they are older cars with a "cult" following. This car is super cool, and with the help of the people here and at the "other" forum, I've made some cool, cheap mods that have made the car even cooler.

Plus my mom said it now looks like something from a Steven King novel!

I would buy one anytime again. I fell in love with the 300C as I have seen them on Test drives in Namibia in 2003.

My first reaction was "WOW, what a battleship" and I knew immediately that I want one

Another Chrysler?

You betcha! I waited since 1961 for Chrysler to build these. (a 67 442@ 69 Riv helped me cope) My 06 300C is the only new car I owned that has NEVER been back to the dealership for any problem( yet... 25K) The whole four-door thing not-withstanding, and boring interior colors(thank you daimler-benz) I may give it to the woman and score a SRT-8 for me! To bad THEY! , took away our reasonable and prudent daytime speed limit (montana)

I have only put 11,000 miles on our 300C on since I bought it with 5,200.
No problems...I couldn't be more pleased.

Buy Again Poll

This my first post. I voted Not Sure. This is because so far I've only put a little over a hundred miles on it. so don't know how things will go as time goes on. However at this point I really like it; roominess, power, style, handling, comments of friends, etc. I've been to a dealer to transfer the warranty and that was in general a positive experience (minus one little gripe with one person who ultimately did do his job). I am very pleased with the info available on LX owners sites. Don
