You are suspiciously vague on what that "something else" is. Maybe you are afraid to admit you gave a hard-on for a Prius.
I don't like the Prius, but the new Honda Insight would definitely be on my test-drive list. I'm not afraid to admit it. "Something else" also consists of a 1987 Red-on-Black Porsche 951, a NG Saab 9-3 Aero (2004 preferably), an M5, Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon, any of the NG Audis...I'm a european car guy, which just goes to highlight how much mercedes there really is in the LX cars, because I like my 300C and have HATED every other american car that I've ever driven (new saturns excluded, but they're really Opels anyway).

My wife has a Saab 9-5 ARC Wagon, she dearly loves the car but is tiring of the continual trips to the shop...

I had an '04 9-3 Aero...I LOVED that car. I was possessed by something to trade it in for a Wrangler Rubicon in January '07, which is what I traded on my 300C in October that same year. I miss my Saab something awful, I never really had any problems with it at all, just scheduled maintenance, save for one stereo issue that I had a few months after I got it - the amplifier was loose or something and it was crackling and popping and sounding terrible. Everything was repaired under warranty, and when Saab switched from their 3/36000 warranty to the 5/50000 warranty, they even upgraded me at no cost without me even having to do anything, I just went in for an oil change and busted out the checkbook to pay for it and was handed a warranty receipt . I'd love to see that kind of treatment from a Chrysler dealer...
The big disadvantage with buying another 300 (on my second) is not the car, it is the service department trying to sell extra services on a continuing basis. With both of my 300's I have had numerous petty issues as with my 08 Jeep also. I look forward to buying the new designed 300C (2011 model) with AWD, but I dread the thought of having to go back through the same service philosphy of being sold additional services. Hopefully the quality will improve and I won't have to go through feeling like a source of revenue to the service group. Would love to see Chrysler return to where the customer service needs count more than the customer being a source of cash to the dealers.
Absolutely. At 56, I've finally got a luxury muscle car that's incredibly quick, handles like a go kart, is very comfortable, and oh-so-much fun to drive. And my wife loves it when I put my foot in it !
My only problems have been two flats due to screws in the parking lot where I work. Can't hardly blame Chrysler for that.
There are some full electrics on the way, pass go (hybrid) and collect $200 (no gas). I hope your guy in the White House does not stop the Volt. There is also the 200c. I was looking to buy a Volt (now hoping the 200c becomes reality).
Can't see why a merger with Fiat is desirable, even with what THEY say. Hope we will still have HEMIs to play with and not some goofy 4 cylinder sports thingy.
I ordered a new srt at the end of March, but that chapter 11 has put everything on hold. I hope that is over soon, I can't beleive how excited I am. So obviously I would buy another 300 lol.

I agree with James in every way. But a nagging electrical gremlin and poor dealer service has got me wary of this particular car. If I have to invoke the Lemon Law, I would want another 300 C, not the money.
I dunno even though mine got repo i was having some weird starting issues that the dealer didnt even know what to tell me weird. Also i had bass in the trunk nothing to wild but still my trunk started to crack wide open WTF ?
