Actually, I am interested in getting a 2009 Ram 1500 pickup so I don't have to carry manure and cement in the trunk of my 300C among other things. Problem is that I want a regular cab and all the dealers have is Quad Cab and Crew Cab and Chrysler is not making any more pickups right now. The closest 2009 standard cab 4WD with Hemi is at a dealer 100 miles and isn't the colour I want. I guess my money can just stay in the bank and earn a big 0.25% interest.

Absolutely, 2007 300C Black, 2 years, 14K miles no issues what so ever. It's my weekend cruiser, plus 2-3,000 mile road trips out West, Best car I have ever owned. But I miss my convertible, so if they make the Challenger Convertible put me down for one! If not I guess I could order one from Mr. Norm's Garage.
I'll let you know how I feel about it after the winter, but so far, I'm quite happy with the vehicle, and I'm only in the LTD.

I emailed consumer reports about that report. It was on the 300c 5.7 they rated the V-6 which they drove very high. I aske why they had rated it as unreliable since it has one of the worlds 10 best engins for 5 of the last 6 years. That is according to wards automotive which rates engines from all manufactuers. The only reason it did not get 6 out of 6 years as one of the 10 best was because there had been no major changes to the 5.7 in 07. YOU WILL NOT BELIVE WHAT THEY EMAILED ME BACK. tHEY SAID THEY RATED IT AS UNRELIABLE BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT TESTED IT. I DROPED MY SUSCIPTION TO THE MAG AND GAVE THEM A PICE OF MY MIND. I WOULD NOT TRUST ANY OF THEIR RATINGS IN THE FUTURE.
My opinion is the same as brandy16 on consumer reports ratings of Chrysler products. Seems to me that they are biased against anything Chrysler makes and their opinions are negative. I also agree that Chrysler products have faults, but they have many more strong points and are improving in quality as time goes by. I have ignored the last renewal offers and will not buy the magazine again as I don't think that they are fair in their opinion of Chrysler products.
My 2006 300C SRT just turned 3 (that's in car years) and has logged 28,000 miles with no major problems. I've owned many cars over the years but none has been more enjoyable to drive than this one. I plan to keep it for at least 2 more years and hope that the Feds haven't completely nuetered all of the new cars by then.
