Hi all,
Has anyone replaced the exhaust trims on there 300 ? the wife decided to clean ours with a brilo pad and as such they now have a brushed finish !!!! (not best pleased)
So I was thinking of buying some after market ones in stainless to slip over the existing ones, any ideas guys???
If you ever want to "clean up" chrome with steel wool, make sure it's the finest you can find (0000 or whatever it's called). Then use lots of soap and rub very lightly. We use it on everything chrome at home, from the car to faucets in the house. If you are gentle it works wonders. Not so sure about fake plastic chrome, but chromed metals clean up really well.
I was fed up of seeing my O/S tailpipe sticking. 1.5 in further out than the N/S one ( due to my recent rear end bump ) so I got a couple of 82mm chrome tailpipes off fleabay, job done.
