Hey all, I just posted another thread on here about a mod I am working on... and I got to thinking... since I'm going to end up getting the car painted hy not go for the SILVER STEAL I have been wanting... I mean it's close enough to my stearling silver metallic, right?
If anyone has a Silver Steal 300 would you be so kind as to tell me what the paint code for that color is?
I was told from a not so reliable source that this is the same as my stearling silver metallic (paint code 99) but I have doubts about that...
Please help a girl out and clarify this for me...
Thanks guys. ttyl,
Cynthia

I guess my post above is not too helpful if you have a different colour than what you want to go with. Here's a list of paint codes:
PB8 Midnight Blue
PBE Butane Blue
PDM Mineral Gray
PDR Graphite
PEL Inferno Red
PJR Onyx Green
PKJ Light Almond
PMQ Black Lava
PP4 Satin Jade
PPK Magnesium
PS2 Bright Silver
PW1 Stone White
PWG Cool Vanilla
PXR Brilliant Black Pearl
PA4 Silver Steel Metallic
PRH Blaze Red Pearl
PYG Linen Gold
PVE Tangerine
PYH Solar Yellow
PS2 Bright Silver
PRH Inferno Red Crystal Pearlcoat
PHG Plum Crazy Pearlcoat
PBM SubLime Metallic
PB6 Marine Blue Pearlcoat
PA4 Silver Steel Metallic
PW1 Stone White
PWG Cool Vanilla
PYG Linen Gold Pearlcoat
PR3 High Performance Red
PYH Top Banana
PXR Brilliant Black PearlCoat
PVE Go Mango Pearlcoat
PDT Dark Titanium Metallic
PKG Light SandStone Metallic
PBG ClearWater Blue Pearlcoat
Rambit, there is one more color I can add to the list. It is PX8. This is a European color only which my car has. It's a solid black (not metallic) color. I don't know the right translation into English (I hope you can help me with this), but a word to word translation from Russian is the "Black Lacquer".

Thanks Prozac! PX8 is called Black Clearcoat here, but it's not a new colour at all. It's been used on many cars, trucks, Jeeps, minivans etc for years.
Are you saying this black is available on the 300's where you're at? That of course would be new!!!
I know I am posting to an old post but I have PBM and according to the manucafuter is is Steel Bule Metallic. Just thought I would throw in my .02 cents.

Yes Rambit. My car is PX8 color! You can see some pictures in my gallery and you see my car in my signature!
When I have ordered my car in 2007 basic colors were not metallic. So I bought the PX8 model. I don't know if its still available on the 2008 European models, or not.
