Looks like you have the same rear wing badge.

I used Lexan for the insert - hand cut it to fit. Used the tabs that were there and cut couple more tabs for the bottom part. Then just used bolts with some nice little finishing washers. Info here >>> My engine cover journey... (with pics)

Feel free to ask if you need help along the way.

PM replied.

To round off the corners I used a dremel with a cylinder style sandpaper bit. I highly recommend it. Very easy to work on the Lexan - just slow your dremel speed down as you get down to the final touches. Happy to help if you have more questions.

And post or send me some pics of what you were talking about - still trying to get my mind around it.

Yeah they are. They just have a nice thick domed layer of resin on top so they appear a bit off-center from different angles.

In that case. Very nice. Anyone know how they hold up to central California sun? How's the adhesion? Do they seem to be able to take a carwash?

Thanks. The only one that I have that gets exposed to sun is the one on the rear wing, and it still looks brand new at this point. I wash my car at least once a week, usually more this time of year, so I don't think you have to worry about that. Honestly, I was skeptical of the adhesive used - it is 3M, but it's that very thin clearish 3M tape. But it holds like a rock. The only one I've had any issue with is the steering wheel wing badge... the OEM badge that gets covered is a bit domed, so the replacement badge that goes on top has to flex a bit to adhere. They are flexible, but the thick resin on top wants to pull them back flat, so the edges on my steering wheel badge have pulled a little. When I notice it I just push it back down and stays for awhile. I think I will replace it at some point - I'll probably have him either do a very light coat of resin, or no resin at all - as seen on my visor warning sticker covers.
