Metro Air Force Blaster: Motorcycle dryer.

I have used this Motorcycle dryer for my sportbike for several years now and on my big Ford F-250 truck. Let's face it, nothing annoys people more than drying your car, then when you make your first trip from home, its coming out from the brake lights, the roof molding that hides the weld marks, etc. After I wash and spot free rinse my sportbike and it starts to dry, I take the air force balster to it. You would be amazed how much water traps itself on my bike, radiator, fairings, etc, that you can't see with your eyes and the AFB starts letting you see just where that water is coming from and push it out and dry the area at the same time. The AFB is a filtered system and won't push particles in the air through your hose and onto your paint. It also generates a warm air, not outside air temp. and that is what also helps to dry.

The Metro Air Force Blaster saves me time and aggrivation and doesn't mess up your paint finish. I have used it everytime I have washed my new SRT and I can tell you that the 300 can hide some water my friends, as I am sure you already know. Especially in the lug nut holes on the SRT wheels. I haven't wiped the wheel yet for runny water. Here is a link. They only sell it on motorcycle pages and Target online. This is who I bought it from. It is around $200 I think and this site threw in a free wall mount for the dryer ($25 value) with the purchase of the AFB. The filter is machine washable and will last along time, but for $4.00 you get 2 more. I got them, just in case one day AFB isn't sold but mine still works. I will have replacement filters for it. They also make a commercial use one and its a 8hp motor instead of the AFB 4 hp. It is more for all day use for a detailer or car wash. The AFB will work fine for home use and not just for motorcycle's.

I used my leaf blower in the past as well. But the blowing end is only one size and I can't get the leaf blower in the tighter hard to get at spots. Plus the leaf blower is recycling the dust particles, dirt, etc. in the air and not filtering that before blowing it on your paint at a high rate of speed. The tiny particles are being blasted at your paint like a sand blaster that you can't see with your eyes.

Plus the leaf blower is blowing whatever the outside temp. is, if its warmer outside the AFB is still blowing warmer air. If it's cooler out the leaf blower just pushes the water off and it takes longer to dry, the AFB drys the water right in front of your eyes as it is pushing the water away, amazing product. It comes with 5 different attachments to get into the tinest of places, espcially the dreaded side mirrors.

Just my 2 cents.

I've used a combo of the leaf blower, then compressor for the hard-to-reach areas. Thanks for the link Mark, this could go on hubbeee's 'birhday ideas' list. All the energy he'd save could be channeled back into finishing my Nomad!

If you are using the AFB on the driveway, out in the open, not too bad on the ears. If you are in the garage, at night, and door down, then ear plugs.

When I am ever working with anything noisy like that, for a period of time (min. 10 minutes) I wear plugs. I am a Home builder and when I am on my job sites, my ear plugs go in, especially in the framing stage. My sport bike is very loud, and even with my helmet, I wear plugs.
