Question Our BIG ole Dash - Cleaning/Conditioning Suggestion?

Gentleman (& Ladies):

We all have been blessed with our 300's BIG ole dash board. We have also been cursed with its maintenance. When it is clean and shiny it looks fantastic... when it is dry and dusty it looks like crap.

Any suggestions for cleaning / maintaining the dash? I don't even know what the material is (synthetic leather-like substance... vinyl?). We have it on the doors as well and when I use armor-all I always get a streaky oilly look that I don't like.

I would like a product that will condition, protect and shine all in one. Can anyone turn me on the right stuff? Also, any suggestions for a first-rate leather conditioner?

Much appreciated.

Don't use Armor all or a product that cleans and conditions all in one step. Armol has solvents in it which will leave your dash greasy. always two step (clean first, condition second) when caring for the dash. use a water based dressing, you can also use it on your door trim, tires, wheel wells and rubber seals, so you get some milage out of it. Thanks Turbo... That is what I suspected (Bad Armor-all BAD!)

What are you using for a cleanser? Conditioner?

Where can I find the best products? I would love to support one of our vendors if possible.

Where purchased? Pep Boys? Local auto parts store? Forum vendor? Thanks for the info.

My edit: I should have looked back into the Detailing Forum further and see that Gary is a professional detailer, has his own website, and offers his own products. I'll be PMing you Gary. Thanks.
