Meguiars PLASTX yes or no on newer cars

Anyone used this product. I was thinking of using this on my head & tail lights.

I used it on an 8 year old headlight because it looked especially bad opposite the headlight that I had just replaced. I got significant improvement, but (probably due to 8 years of neglect) nowhere near new looking.
