Pics, my next (fun) car

This was a labor of love. I ordered the turbo model coming out this fall. HP goes up to 250 from 170, should be plenty of power in this roadster. I fit comfortably in it at 6' 4". Just a weekend car for me. First inspection of the car showed more than usual contaminants. Procedure was as follows: Hand wash with regular car wash soap (two bucket method, one for the suds, other for rinsing) using a micro fiber wash mit. Clayed the car (it needed it bad) wash again. Dried with waffle weave MF towel. Removed two plastic tape pieces on the under side of car using solvent cleaner and some goo gone. Next, using my DAPC and a polishing pad, I applied cleaner/polish......since the clay removed the contaminants from "ON" the finish, the cleaner polish brought the depth, shine and reflectivity back "INTO the finish....finished with a sealant to "lock in" the look I was going after. The tires got an application of a water based Dressing, and the chrome wheels had poly seal applied. As always, I only use MF towels to remove polish and sealant from the finish. if you have not stepped up to MF, this, besides claying is one of the most important steps in detailing. I can't wait to get mine.

James nice car, I hope that it is all that you hope it to be. Me personally I won't buy GM. Gave up on them in the '80's.
