Cleaning Leather Seats

There was a tag hanging on my seat when I purchased the car explaining what to clean the seats with. Some MOPAR cleaning solution and nothing else. I am sure it is normal leather and be cleaned with normal leather cleaning stuff. What does everyone use? Do you guys use the MOPAR stuff? I want to keep my leather clean from Day 1!! So help me out!!

I usually clean mine with a mild cleaner that I use in my detailing business and then put on a fresh coat of leather conditioner afterwards. I think what product you should use would be better answered by Gary since he is the forum guru on detailing supplies.

Of course they will tel you to use Mopar stuff, its their own product. basically for leatehr you need a PH balanced cleaner, like the one I sell on my web site, stay away from all purpose, detergent, and other more aggressive cleaners. You can easily remove the dye from the seats, follow up with a lanaline conditoner and you are good to go. see my web site for more info. Perfect Auto Finish - Gary Kouba - Auto Detailing Gary

Parkie,
Some members have no patience/tolerance, and tend to reply with negative/sarcastic and often mean-spirited answers. Unfortunately, jjs tends to be one of them. That kind of attitude certainly doesn't help newer members such as yourself.
