can anyone tell me the BEST shampoo to use...

OK with all this winter snow and sand on the streets, I have a mess on my floors. What is the absolute best shampoo to use and any hints on applying it and etc would be great!!!

well your BEST bet would be to get an carpet extractor to clean. I use a nice dose of Spot Shot, scrub it in real good, put a little bit of water on it, then extract it all with an extractor. Works every time.

have you thought about using some "exactmats" during the winter months and then taking them out when it's warmer?

Best to get some winter floor mats from the Dealer.

I put mine in and they look fantastic, and protect the carpet.

My stock ones won't be going back in. They are just a dirt magnet.

I tend to prefer Neutrogena myself. It has excellent texture, and good nutrient balance....ohhhhhhhhhhhh, how silly of me

BINGO!!!!

Spot shot, soaked, water, extractor.

Works like a charm...Inside the house too.

BTW: Spot shot is sold in a blue and orange can at Wal-mart. It's a MIRACLE solution....It took red wine out of a white sweater I had. Makes Oxy-clean look like dirt.

I use a Hoover steam vac with the Bissel cleaning solution. It works great and it keeps my hair nice and shiny clean.

I actually would stay away from anything that has soap in it. From what I know, any soap residue will keep attracting more dirt.

I know when I used a shampooer on my old car it always seemed like the floors got dirtier faster.

Hmmm never heard that one before. I've been doing it on my cars for maybe 10 years. I also spray the Scotch guard down every few years too.
