I thought the leaf blower was my secret, yes, it works great. caution on using a chamois. THEY WILL SCRATCH YOUR FINISH. If you look at a chamois closely, you will see they are flat when wet, so when a contaminant gets trapped between the finish and the chamois, it will act like sandpaper. The waffle weave Micro fiber towels are perfect for using after the leaf blower. I have them on my web site as well. Gary www.perfectautofinish.com

might sound like i'm nuts but i went out and bought a leaf blower.

i have a micro fiber waffle weave for drying and it does a good job.

leaf blower is good for the "water dripping spots" especially when you detail.

The leaf blower is it. Use it after you vacuum to see how much your vac missed...open all the doors and windows. I had 2 good friends with minivans, and told them to vac...then I open the hatch and doors and used the blower, they just shook their heads at all the crap that flew out lol, they're believers now!
I use it in the house on my hardwood floors too! (Neighbors think I'm a little crazy I think)

aren't you just pushing pushing all the dust into the air in your house? I have all hardwood on my main level I can not imagine doing that. After a while, letting it settle I am sure I would be able to right my name on our dark granite. he he.

Nolmscheid, I open all the doors and blow toward the doors (and I have a good breeze with the doors open), I vac first, then the leave the house open for a while, then clean the counters etc....some dust eventually settles, but what gets blown outside is pretty scary sometimes. House seems much cleaner this way. Plus it keeps my neighbors and fellow forum members thinking I'm psycho!!

I don't need no leafblower!!!! I just take it out on the highway and open her up,works great and doesn't leave spots, now all I have to do is figure out where I am going to get the money to pay for the ticket and my insurance increase. How much is that leafblower again!?!?!?

The leaf blower works, but the Mr clean auto dry gun is fantastic and cheap. It has saved me from hours of buffing chrome on my Harley (on which the leaf blower pushed water into places its not supposed to go and screwed up my turn signals). Just rinse off with the gun attached to your hose and walk away, mirrors, windows everything drys spotless! Just Like our car, its approved by Motortrend Magazine.
