Removing the rear chrysler emblem?

OK.... before I dive too far into this, how do you remove the center part (chrysler logo) from the rear emblem? I started to do this and after trying to use a very small screwdriver, putty tool and fishline thought it would be best to stop before I really jack something up, lol! I alreaady started to scratch the heck out of the emblem. I have different emblem I am putting on. Thanks for any information!

If you don't have a heat gun use a hair dryer, use an old credit card to remove the emblem, then follow up with goo gone to remove residue, you are good to go. Gary

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are aware that the rear wings also are plugged into the trunk lid- right????

There are 2 wholes that will remain in the trunk lid once you remove the wings- Just thought I would drop that tidbit of info.

Good Luck

LOL PRICAN LOL... i was thinking the EXACT SAME THING!

WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!

There two prongs that plug INTO the trunk.. if you remove that emblem you will have two holes in your trunk lid area, it needs to be repainted...

My shop did a great job just blending the paint... about a $100 bucks

Hehehe......I don't think I made it clear as to what I am doing. I am not trying to remove the wings. I am just trying to remove the Chrysler center logo. If this changes things and anyone can tell me what they did or has an idea that would be great! I appreciate all the feedback so far. Lol. sorry I wasn't clear on that one.
