I understand, but results like this don't come cheap or in a bottle of zip wash/wax.

Here in NY it goes for about 250 but takes them like 8 hours to do. but they do fantastic work. and when i say they take 8 hours i mean all 8 hours. i took my SUV limited explorer black on black to them and inquired about all the swrils. believe it or not when they finished no more swrils. they explained to me that it all depends on soad, towel, and equipment. all i know is that they are awesome. the SUV was 335 but a car is about 200 - 250. just be prepared to sit and wait for many hours. their regualr wash is $15 but takes 1.5 hours. they are really excellent. i will be heading to them at the end of the month for a summer clean up.

Some guys charge $130.00 for just a wash, clay and wax.

My full detail starts at $300.00 and goes up depending on size and condition of vehicle.

My full detail includes:

wash vehicle by hand, no pressure washer here.

clay all painted surfaces

remove all swirls and light scratches

polish paint and increase depth of gloss

wax vehicle

clean and condition all leather

spot clean all fabric surfaces as needed

clean all windows inside and out

polish wheels and exhaust tips

dress tires and wheel wells

This could take anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.

Now for those who think it is too much. I have to pay for insurance, busniess licenses, chemicals, pads, towels, fuel and advertising. Plus I do have to eat once in a while.

My clients that have me detail their cars also pay me $100.00 for a basic wash, vacuum, windows, tires and wheel wells.

They used to use the $40.00 Zipwash/wax guy, but once they see my work they don't mind paying the money to have it done right.

I'm very good at what I do, have more than 20 years experience and I'm not afraid to charge what I'm worth.
Rich. I totally agree with you. where i take my car "CAR SPA" they have top of the line equipment. they also dont use power pressure hose. i mean they wash your car like theyd wash a child. its simply incredible and the work is just priceless.
