Question What's the best way to clean my TIS rims?

Are there any products out there specifically designed for chrome plated wheels such as my TIS03's?

I've just had them put on last week and don't want to stuff them up by cleaning them incorrectly. Any ideas or methods will be greatly appreciated.

I have the tis03 wheels and have been on for 2 years................I have NEVER used any type of polish on them.........

just use your car wash and a sponge when you hand wash...........I also then follow up with meguire's quick detail and a MF towel........

they still sparkle like the day they were mounted!!!!!!!!!!!

if you want to see pics of my sparkly 2 year old tis03's that have been cared for in this manner, shoot me a PM..........

I've had my TIS 03's for almost 2 years and they still look brand new. I usually wipe my rims down after a drive with a QD and every 2 weeks I use Nu Finish or Poorboys quick wax and detailer so the rims are nice and smooth. Any good wax that can be used on chrome will work nicely and keep your rims shining.

To keep those wheels in prestine condition never use harsh chemicals or abrasives, use car wash soap, dry, then follow up with polyseal, when I used to detail show cars, I would put a coat of polyseal on them and the judges would ask the owner whatt hey did to them, word of caution , better wear sun glasses when looking at the wheels in the sun, the shine can blind you, Gary
