I forgot to mention that I do a second rinse with a splash or two of vinegar. The vinegar will work like a fabric softener without clogging the MF. It is also recommended that you wash them before first use.

Definitely no fabric softener, that will reduce the ability of the towel to absorb moisture.

Because vinegar is on the acid side, it will help to neutralize any soap that hasn't been rinsed out of the towel. I would do a final rinse after using the vinegar.

Also, I never run my towels through the dryer. I always hang them up on a plastic hanger and let them air dry. You'd be surprised how fast they dry.

One other tidbit - fill the washer with water and detergent, let the washer agitate, thoroughly dispersing the (lquid) detergent - THEN add the MF towels.

I usually wash in warm, with a small amount of detergent, and soak overnight in the detergent solution. Then re-wash with no added detergent (effecting a triple rinse). Then dry on low.

Have recently purchased a product called Micro Rejuvenator. Pinnacle makes the product. It is a concentrate. The results on my microfibers has been terrific. It is expensive but so are my microfiber towels.

I also line dry the MF towels. Never mix the towels with anything but microfiber towels in the wash. I agree with ChuckG that vinegar will also help clean the towels.

i have over a hundred microfiber towels in my arsenal but the one's i like the best are from a company called Adam's Polishes. Have purchased from many vendors but the quality, size, and price is the best that i have found. When it comes to MF towels you get what you pay for. That is including the soap that you wash them with.
