How to clean microfiber towels?

Just what the title says, how are you suppose to clean your microfiber towels?

Wash BY THEMSELVES in cold water,little soap,
NO SOFTNER, NO BLEACH,take out after spin cycle,let air dry.
Never wash them with any cotton towels or wash cloths,
MF towels will pick up lint and it will end up on your car.

Thank you very much, but what type of soap would you recommend? Are you talking about tide or something like that?

I guess I have laundry to do tommorrow then, thanks for your help. Those towels aren't cheap.

Only use liquid soap, a powder soap will not break down and stick to the towel.

I use Dreft detergent and warm water cycle. I then dry them on extra low heat and try to remove them before they are completely dry.

May be an old wives (or is it old detailers) tale, but DON'T use a fabric softener sheet.
