How to wash your car without scratching(Video)

Surfing around the net... came upon this video showing a good way to wash your car without scratching! I of course have Gary's video from last year.. but this is just as good for the wash cycle...

How to Wash Your Car (ShowCar style!)

I think the guy in the video used to run Meguiars online forums. Seems like a knowledgeable dude.

Thanks. I think I'll try using 2 buckets.

I pretty much do what he was preaching, but I did learn:

Two bucket system
blot the chamios (I do use the tubed chamios)
and love the grit gaurd!

Thanks for sharing! You probably saved me from scratching my car the way I am cleaning it.

No problem Moose... I got Gary's video a year back.... thought I'd share this one once I found it (for free). I don't get very dirty, but I do use the 2 bucket method.

If you're not into doing it yourself and have a few bucks laying around, you can always have this guy do it for you.

Oh, you'll need $5000 in spare cash BTW...haha.

Video - The Most Expensive Car Wash costs $5000 pounds... the wax that they use is $6000 pounds.. clients- MC12's, Enzo's, Zonda's etc... MUST WATCH!!

I got a problem with that mit he was using in the video.
The blueish looking elastic cuff on the mit was occasionally making contact with the paint, which will cause scratches. Also, the lambs wool could catch and hold dirt which will scratch the paint.

I use this microfiber cleaning applicator to clean the car because it doesn't have any abrasive materials, and I can clearly see any dirt on the applicator.

Blue Perl Microfiber Applicators

I continuously use a spray nozzle to clean the applicator as I am washing the car. Only one bucket of soap needed.
