Car Cover Question

Here I go. I have a BB "C" and it gets so nasty while just sitting on the driveway. I was wondering if anybody knows of a good (won't scratch paint) economical car cover made for the 300? I havent seen or heard of any. Plus, I dont know anything about them. So, if somebody could shed some light Im sure a lot of us here will appreciate it.

Thanks

There are some other threads with lots more info on car covers but I can tell you I went with the Ultraguard Cover from autoanything.com. Here is the link:

http://www.autoanything.com/products...uard_car_cover

It's a little pricey but I love it. The cover is all weather, it breathes well and has a super soft inner lining that won't harm the finish. It's also custom fitted for the 300C. You may not want to pay this much but do not go for the $25 covers you'll see on Ebay.

WOW, pricey is wright. $250 is a little bit much. I love my car but thats a lot of money. Are there any other covers for around $50.

Goose,

Yeah, like most anything else, covers come in all different styles and price ranges. Believe it or not, but the one I went with is only mid-range. I've seen some that are much more expensive. It all depends on what kind you need and what's best for you. I needed an all weather for the elements but some folks have garages and prefer an interior cover for the dust.

You just have to decide what your needs are and then start looking on google for the cover that's right for you. I would recommend getting a custom fitted cover though since the 300C is kind of a monster and something with a nice lining that won't harm the paint. Covercraft makes some good ones and they do custom fitting as well. Try this link:

Good luck!

I appreciate the help Mr. Lizard. I just want it for during the day when I go to my fathers house and leave the car outside while we go to work. At night the car sleeps in my Garage. Its just that I clean it one day and when I leave it over at my dads for the day, when we get home from work the car its filthy. What makes me mad is not the fact that its dirty. Its the fact that It got dirty and I did not get the chance to drive it.

Be very, very careful if that is what you plan on using it for...I mean putting it on a clean car in the garage overnight or for weekends is ones thing...your situation just screams of dust and debris around the area that could easily get in the cover fibers and act like a huge sheet of sandpaper across the car when putting it on and taking it off.
