Best over the counter combo?

I plan on ordering detailing supplies soon (paint cleaner, paint seal and chrome sealant)...but I want to detail my car this weekend.

What do you guys recommend as the best combination of supplies that you can get OTC? Like say at a Pep Boys or O'Rielleys?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW...Gary, I wish you could take orders via fax and credit card.

The new Mother's Reflections series is probably the best OTC products out there right now. The Meguiar's stuff is good too but you're not going to get the longevity of the Mother's products with the Meguiar's Pro or even the NXT line.

I'm with JayC, Mothers Reflections. I've used Megs in the past, but it's the same products I used in the early 90's. I currently use Zaino and extremely happy with the results.

Best Over-The-Counter Combo

Well, I'd probably venture to say that it a Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger, large fries, and a large drink...but that's just probably me.

Actually, I'll soon be trying the same stuff which I've used on my Harley over the years. It also has some sort of demagnetizing-type component which seems to do a good job repelling dust. If I don't forget, I'll bring some of it along to our next SoCal gathering.

Alsmag, sorry about the inconvenience of not taking credit cards. I checked into it and it will cost me some big $$$ to impliment it on my web site. For now, people have been fine with sending in the order form with a check. I guarentee if you go the extra mile you will be 100% satisfied. I sell the same stuff I use in my shop. Thats why they blow away over the counter stuff. YOu have seen the work I do and cars I get in my shop. Give it a chance and you make the call. Gary

I've been using Paypal for the lower mesh inserts that I sell and it works great. You offer your customers peace of mind and can accept all forms of payment. It works for me and only costs very little.
