Talking Gary A.K.A. TURBOMANGT is the man!!

I know that I am far from the first person on the forums to say this and I surely will not be the last, but Gary is an awesome guy and his products work really well. I purchased everything but the clay bar, which in retrospect, I should have. I finally had a few hours to kill this past weekend to thoroughly clean and seal my 300C. The other dads in the neighborhood are all jealous of the car already, and their feelings have now increased exponentially because the car shines better than new.

I called Gary during work hours for a few pointers, and he was more than happy to answer my questions. If I lived near Chicago, I would definitely attend one of his detailing seminars. I do have a few minor road chips from the god-forsaken tractor trailers on the PA Turnpike, but I will probably take the car to a professional, rather than paint them myself. Hopefully I can find someone in the area to apply the 3M clear bra and avoid future disappointments.

The tire dressing works well also. It does not give the high gloss sheen (just as Gary promised it would not) like I have seen from other products , but I have still received alot of compliments.

Thanks again Gary!

NY2PA, I appreciate your comments. Since my passion is detailing, I'm always glad to help out anyone that asks. In my business, if its not perfect, its not done. As far as products are concerned, you have two choices, retail? or professional grade? the results speak for themselves. Gary

Totally agree, and like you will be ordering a clay bar with my next order, didn't the first time because am still kind of intimidated with the prospects of screwing the finish but will take small baby steps with it.

Thumbs up

Hlava, you live in an area that has volcanic ash (many times you can't even see it) floating in the atmosphere. When it lands on your finish, it spells potential danger. I have walked many people through the claying process with no problem. Just yesterdsay I had a woman visit me at my shop that had a bad experience with claying. When she told me about her process it was no wonder that she got "stuck" with her clay. She used quick detail spray (which is good) and water. (which is bad) the water nulified the lubrication of the quick detail spray and made the clay bar stick. I showed her how the lather of the soap along with the detail spray makes the clay slide like glass over the finish, while picking up micro contaminents along the way. Anything you do that is different will cause you concern, but education and experience will get you through it. Gary
p.s. Lava, I will take your ash anyday of the week and trade for a chicago winter. Gary

gary

OK here is B/C after Gary did it. I should have him do it again after Knauz Motors Messed it up.

Gary I got Clay magic for pep boys do you think the spray in that would be good. When you clayed B/C what did you use it wasn’t a spray. Also that spray that you uses before you started what was that you said it was a soak to loosen the dirt.

Also after watching you do the car and how you said don't be afraid of the buffer I used it this weekend to remove a little scratch I got putting the grill in. Thanks for the encouragement.

Eric
