Thumbs up Mr Clean Autodry review

Used it today, works well. The car was so grimey I prewashed with turbomangt products, I clayed the car and previously used his paint sealer.

Using Mr Clean, the horizontal surfaces sheeted just like on TV, the vertical surfaces seemed to bead and in all fairness I had no time and I did not want to wait to see if it sheeted dry by morning so I MFd it dry the rest of the way. I clayed the glass which sheeted great. The glass is stuning in part due to the clay. No spots on the chrome. For me Mr Clean is great because of the vexing well water spots I am prone to get and rinsing with the filter helps a lot. Two thumbs up.

Thanks for the review, as we've been contemplating possibly purchasing this product as well.

I have been using the Autodry on the Harley, as well as on the 300c. It seems to work well, the only heads up I have for you is that however you choose to wash the vehicle initially, your final wash should be with the Mr. Clean wash, then the filtered rinse works much better.

If you are a Costco Exec or Business Member, you should have a coupon book, that is good thru the 15th of May, with a discount for the Pro Kit, or the refill kit, limit 2.

Glad somebody's having luck with it, I'm sure not. But to be fair, it's gotten universally good reviews, in addition to the ones here.

I think either I'm being too stingy with the soap application (and I still manage to use a lot of it), or the south Texas water is so hard that it will spot no matter what.

Regardless, I still use it when I'm short on time and the cars are filthy, that in itself makes it worth it.

Same here. I'm in SA and can get only 2 or 3 washings with the filter. On my last wash I did notice I had some water spots on the chrome.

I am in Fort Worth and the spot free works great. The only drawback is that you can not do it in direct sunlight. I usually do mine in the evening and works like a champ.

A word of caution, though. The "Mr. Clean" soap is somewhat harsh and will strip some if not all of your wax. The unit is best used with a different soap. Sonus or Zymol are my favourites.

Thanks for the heads up, I will give the better soaps a try. What do you think about diluting the Mr. Clean soap?
